Meet Chris and Jayne. Chris is one of my husbands assistant coaches up at the McQueen High School. I met Jayne last fall and was an instant fan, she is such a lovely person, a perfect match for Chris, they are so cute together! I am so excited to be shooting their wedding this coming July! This engagement session was fantastic, we made it up to Sand Harbor on a perfect day, snow on the ground, but lots of open sand where the snow had melted. The air was perfectly still, and the lake smooth like glass, just an absolutely beautiful afternoon at the lake!

The lights of my life!!!

Being a mother is such a blessing! The moment I first knew that my beautiful daughter was on the way I fell head over heels in love with her. The first time I saw her sweet face I knew my life would never be the same! If you have kids then you know what I mean! Being an aunt is also an amazing blessing. I had the honor of being present in the delivery room for the births of both my sisters girls, and when I first saw each of their faces I knew they would be in my heart forever! I adore these three girls, they are the lights of my life and they make my life so rich and wonderful! My sister and I took our girls out to Bartley Ranch for some fall/birthday photos! Jordan is now 12, I cannot believe it has been 12 years since the day I first saw her little face. She is smart, funny, has an incredible heart for the Lord and she is so good, heart little heart is pure gold! Kaitlyn is 7 now and is such a character. Her personality is larger than life, she laughs, loved (and cries) with every bit of herself, at 150% all the time! Hailey is 5 months old and just beginning to show her sweet little personality. She is such a happy baby, all smiles and giggles! Her hair sticks straight up off the top of her head, and it fits her funny, sunny personality perfectly! So, here they are, my girls, and I adore them!!

As a photographer, it is always a honor to be asked by another photographer to do their portraits! Katie Watkins, of Katie Watkins Photography in Redding California, is a dear friend and a fellow photographer (a SUPER talented photographer at that). I just adore her and her lovely family! We had so much fun, despite getting busted for being where we should not have been (oops)! I am so looking forward to teaching a fabulous workshop with Katie this coming April (details are on the way)! Wow, I can remember their adorable newborn session like it was yesterday, when in fact a whole year had now passed. Their sweet little faces have been in front of my lens many times this year (baby plan members) and I have truly enjoyed every moment I have gotten to spend with these adorable twins! It’s so funny how the unique personalities that they displayed even at 2 weeks old have continued to define them as two beautifully different and equally adorable little boys! I am really going to miss seeing these little boys every couple of months

Jenny & Remy {married}

What can I say about this lovely wedding? I knew, when I met Jenny & Remy when Jenny was a bridesmaid for Michon & Chris’s wedding last year, that these two would end up getting married some day! WHat a perfect couple they make! Jenny’s dad had the honor of marrying them and it was one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Jenny’s dad gave a beautiful sermon about married, tying in pieces from a favorite movie of Jenny’s, “The Princess Bride”. I adored seeing how loved these two are, such an outpouring of affection and support from their church family, it was a pleasure to be a part of their day. Without further ado, here is the wedding of Jenny & Remy!!!

Kelle + Damon {married}

This wedding is definitely one for the style books! Kelle and Damon pledged their love to each other by the side of a pond under the cover of weeping willows in Damon’s families beautiful back yard! Have I ever mentioned how much I adore back yard weddings, and this one was no exception! The weather was perfect, and Damon’s parents property was picturesque with the beautifully decorated tent sitting in the middle of their vast property. The table scapes, done by Jessica of Once Upon a Time Events were lush and elegant! These two met in Junior High School and have been together ever since. Their affection for each other is so beautiful to see, and I adore how they look at one another! Tiffany and I had so much fun shooting this wedding, and I am so thrilled and elated to share this post, along with a little slideshow (to be posted very soon), with all of you!

Amanda + Brian {married}

Amanda and Brian (as you may remember from their engagement photo post) met thru Amandas mom. Sometimes mamma really does know best I love how these two are together. Brian is a total joker, and he does such a great job of keeping Amanda smiling and giggling! They just glow around each other, it’s so evident how in love they are. We really loved shooting this wedding, the day was perfect, beautiful and I loved watching as Amanda and Brian shared such a special day with those who love them! Congrats you two, there are such amazing days ahead for you!
