Hey everyone, it’s been a really busy week followed by and even busier weekend, but we made it through! Up next on the blog are Alisa and Justin, they are expecting their first baby in about 6 weeks. They came in to the studio for a maternity session followed by some outdoor shots downtown and we had a blast! Alisa is one of the cutest pregnant women I have ever seen, she just has this adorable basketball belly, and looks amazing for a woman in the last month of pregnancy! I really enjoyed working with these two, they are so photogenic and made my job super easy, I mean look at these two, can’t you just picture the beautiful baby they are having, he is going to be a doll! Well, today seems to be a “let’s get caught up on blogging” kinda day so here we have another fantastic little boy! This is M, he just turned 1 and couldn’t be more excited about it! We had M and his big sister A along with their mommy and grandma in to the studio on M’s birthday to capture his first cake smashing and some one year portraits! I love having a place now where I can be free to allow little ones to make a huge mess with frosting, or whatever. We had so much fun with little M, his energy and enthusiasm for playing made for a fast paced and fun session! I am so glad to have been able to capture this little man’s special day!

Jennifer, M’s mommy, got this cute first b-day cake from Isabelle’s Bakery in Sparks, isn’t it cute!

The best tools for mashing and squishing cake are baby feet, just in case you did not know!

M’s sister A thinks birthdays are the best, even if they are not hers, she was a perfect big-sister helper!

He’s just beginning on that long journey, and I cannot wait to watch him grow into the young man God has designed him to be!
