Hey all, if you read my blog a year ago you will remember a super funny series I posted about called “Diary of a Washed Up Rock-Star Wedding Photographer” starring Joe Photo and a whole slew of fabulous photogs! Well, it looks like the guys over at Cinematic Studios have done it again, this years video series has more of a reality show/competition feel and it is really fun to watch. Here is Episode one, and the rest of the episodes can be found at the Fstop Beyond Blog, even if you are not a photographer you will enjoy this. The winners will be announced at WPPI 2009 and the winning team will get $3000 for their chosen charity, the other team will get $2000, so it’s great in many ways! And one more note, if you are a photographer and not a member of WPPI, I highly recommend that you join, membership is only $99/year and the benefits make it well worth the price. In addition to membership in the organization you should really try to get to the annual convention, it is held in Las Vegas every year sometime in the late winter or early Spring, this year it is at the MGM Feb. 15-19. I have not missed it in years and I plan not to ever miss it, my business benefits every year and I alway come away with new friends and new ideas, etc! Okay so off my soapbox and on to the fun…
