I have to say that I really do like stormy days, we get so few here that they really are a treat. I love how everything smells fresh and clean after a storm, how colors are saturated and everything looks new. I love how the flowers and trees hold on to the rain, letting little drops of life giving water pool up on their petals and leaves like little hands cupped to receive God’s provision. I especially love how, when we get enough rain around here, we have a beautiful spring to bring us out of the dreary winter. I headed out into my yard today to record the beauty of God’s creation, after the storm. I hope you will stop today, and give thanks, for the wonder of God’s endless creativity, what an artist He is!
