Here is the full post about Megan and Mike. They were married up in South Lake Tahoe at the Historic Valhalla Estate. I would like to share a few more (okay more than a few, what can I say it was hard to pick with so many favorites). Megan and Mike are so blessed to be starting their new lives together, Mike is one of three grooms I have this year going into law enforcement and boy do I feel comforted knowing this great guy will be out there protecting us! Megan is going to be a teacher, she just finished her student teaching and I am equally excited that Megan will be molding young minds, she is such a sweet and caring person. Here are some of my favorites from their beautiful wedding!

Okay so despite all the prayers and crossing of fingers over the last week, the sky over Lake Tahoe (and Reno as well) broke open, again, yesterday and rained all over Megan and Mikes “parade”. It’s June, so until this week, no one had even considered the possibility that this day would be rainy, it doesn’t rain very often here, and it really seemed like, after two weeks of thunderstorms, the stormy weather really should have been done. Well, it rained, it poured, and you know what, it did not matter at all, because the focus of the day, the reason we were all there, did not depend on the weather, the love that Megan and Mike share is rock solid, nothing can shake it, and rain or shine, their day was perfect. I was so pleased when, shortly before sunset, the rain stopped, and we were able to head out to the beach for some fabulous portraits of the new Mr. & Mrs. Mike Ortega.
