OH MY GOSH I FINALLY GET TO ANNOUNCE THIS, OFFICIALLY!!

Many of my close friends and family have been so kind to keep this little secret for almost a year now… I am in the process of fulfilling a long time dream and personal goal of mine, to become a published author!!

Over the last year I have been working on writing a manuscript about family photography. I finished writing it early this summer. The books current title (according to my publisher who may still change it) is “Family Photography: The Digital Photographer’s Guide to Building a Business in Relationships”. The book has been accepted and is being published by Amherst Media, a leader in the educational photography book industry.

I had originally hoped it would have a Fall 2010 release, which I am seeing was a bit ambitious and unrealistic, lol, I am new to this process. I have been told that they expect it to have a July 2011 release date (possibly earlier)! I might die of anticipation in the interim but I am going to try to exercise patience!

Anyways, I have been given the “go ahead” to begin talking about the book publicly and I am so excited. Many of my wonderful clients have images featured in the book. Keep an eye out here and on my Facebook page over the coming months, I will continue to share news and updates as the release date approaches!

Thank you to all of the people (you know who you are) who not only kept the “secret” of this project but who were so supportive during the writing process, I have amazing friends and family and couldn’t do ANYTHING without them!
